The view from my window

We are well and truly snowed in, but I amuse myself taking pictures through my living room window. These are from yesterday

How can something so beautiful be such a cold wet blanket?
These look like they could kill. Beautifully lethal!
The ducks are just dealing. What else can they do? No warm fireside for them
These guys are swimming like mad to keep warm. Or maybe they have someplace else to be
Somebody loves this weather
The incoming tide will wash the snow away but in the meantime it provides a creamy frosting for the rocks
Even the fairies are snowed in today
From a couple of days ago when the sun shone
